Barnegat Lighthouse is located at the northern end of of Long Beach Island in the borough of Barnegat Light, New Jersey. The lighthouse which is 163 feet in height was built for $40,000 and commissioned on January 1, 1859. In 1971 Barnegat Lighthouse was added to the National Register Of Historic Places.
For the past thirty years I have been exploring the many ways photography can be creatively used to record the beauty and interesting qualities of our world. Macro and landscape constitute the largest bodies of my work. Most of all I enjoy bringing out unique interpretations of common objects and scenes that might be missed by casual observation. A good friend of mine has a pilot's license and we took a photo journey up the Jersey coast. Interestingly enough most people think I used a drone.
