Description
This is an aerial Navesink Twin Lighthouses set against a mountainside displaying the final colors of autumn. The Twin Lights in Highlands, New Jersey were built in 1828 to help guide ships entering New York harbor. This was the first location to test a Fresnel lens and in 1899 Marconi demonstrated the use of wireless telegraph by communicating from this location to a ship at sea. The Navesink Twin Lights are listed on the Unites States Register Of Historic Places.
