A foggy morning at this fishing pier in Keyport, New Jersey USA provides the perfect lighting and clutter free background for presentation. It is also fortunate that fishing is prohibited January 1st through March 1st so the pier is free of fishermen.

For the past thirty years I have been exploring the many ways photography can be creatively used to record the beauty and interesting qualities of our world. Macro and landscape constitute the largest bodies of my work. Most of all I enjoy bringing out unique interpretations of common objects and scenes that might be missed by casual observation.
